Wonderful! Your career as a photog will be as illustrious as your last one, Ellen. Just don’t let that nutcake Gov. LePage use them to promote life Down East. Particularly loved that one of the grizzled lobsterman: you know, “RAM walking.” LOL.

I agree with David Stephenson that Ellen is an artist, who has shown us she is fulfilling her potential now that she has concluded her urban NGO responsibilities. From Sunlight to sunlight! From transparency of government to lucidity of lens.
Her Maine palette is fantastic and evocative. Captain Hugh at the wheel of his boat, just as we last saw him on the lake. Richard walking the dock at Camden, a classic. The leaves and nature’s Expressionist flotsam by the shore, the saltbox gray houses, the gleam of the sun on the water. It is paradise up there in Maine that Ellen has shown us. Anyone want to build a house we can share over the coming years?
As for Gov. LePage, it is certainly time that the voters turned the page on his sad governance.

This photos made me long for my New England roots, as they are quite beautiful. I miss the fall colors so much at this time of year living in Florida. Thank you for sharing!!

Ellen … stunning pictures! Love the faded dock and the blue boat best. And of course, you captured the bright tangerine color of a maple and the full fall palette. Nice array of pictures and compositions.
